Comfort, Light Control & Beautiful Design
Cellular shades are designed with a unique honeycomb construction that creates air pockets within the shade, providing an additional layer of insulation at the window. They also offer beautiful light diffusion, privacy options, and a wide range of fabrics, colors, and operating systems.
Whether you're trying to make a sunny room more comfortable, create a peaceful bedroom, or add a polished finishing touch to your windows, cellular shades can be customized around your home's needs.
Why Choose Cellular Shades?
The benefits of cellular shades in your Arizona home go beyond beauty.
Versatile Design
With a wide selection of colors, fabrics, pleat sizes, and operating options, cellular shades can complement virtually any interior.
Privacy
Select opacity levels designed around the privacy needs of each room.
Beautiful Light
Choose fabrics that softly diffuse sunlight and create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere.
Energy Efficiency
The honeycomb design creates insulating air pockets that add another layer between your interior and the window.
A Smart Choice for Arizona's Sun
Arizona's intense sunlight can make certain rooms difficult to keep comfortable, especially when windows receive direct sun throughout the day. Cellular shades provide an additional insulating layer at the window while giving you control over natural light and privacy.
During your consultation, we'll consider the direction of your windows, the amount of sunlight each room receives, and how you use the space to help determine which cellular shade configuration makes sense for your home.

Choose the Right Amount of Light
Cellular shades can be customized to create different levels of light and privacy throughout your home. Choose light-filtering fabrics for rooms where you want a soft, natural glow, or consider room-darkening options when blocking sunlight is a priority.
Top-Down / Bottom-Up
Enjoy natural light while maintaining privacy at the lower portion of the window.
Room Darkening
Reduce incoming light for bedrooms and other spaces where darkness is important.
Light Filtering
Softly diffuse natural light.
Add Smart Motorization
Make your cellular shades even easier to use with motorized operation. Adjust shades with a remote, mobile device, scheduled automation, or compatible smart-home controls, depending on the system selected.
Motorization can be particularly helpful for large windows, hard-to-reach windows, bedrooms, and rooms where you want shades to automatically adjust throughout the day.

Frequently Asked Questions About Cellular Shades
Can cellular shades be used on large windows or doors?
Yes. Cellular shades can be customized for a variety of window sizes and configurations, including larger windows and certain door applications. Depending on the specific window or door, different operating systems and configurations may be appropriate. Our team will evaluate the size, shape, and function of your windows before recommending a solution. This allows us to create a window treatment that looks beautiful while remaining practical and easy to operate.
Can cellular shades be motorized?
Yes. Many cellular shade options can be paired with motorized operation, making it easy to adjust your shades without manually operating each window. Motorization can be especially convenient for large, tall, hard-to-reach, or frequently used windows. Depending on the system selected, you may have options for remote control, scheduling, and compatible smart-home integration. During your consultation, we'll explain the available motorization options and help you determine what works best for your home.
Can cellular shades block out sunlight?
Yes. Cellular shades are available in different opacity levels, including options designed to significantly reduce incoming sunlight and create a darker environment. Light-filtering fabrics allow natural light to softly enter a room, while room-darkening options are better suited for bedrooms, media rooms, and other spaces where minimizing light is important. We'll help you select the appropriate opacity based on how much natural light and privacy you want in each room.
Are cellular shades energy efficient?
Cellular shades are designed with a honeycomb construction that creates air pockets between the window and your interior space. This construction provides an additional insulating layer at the window, which can help improve comfort throughout the year. The level of performance depends on factors such as the window itself, fabric selection, and installation. We'll help you explore the available options and determine which cellular shade configuration makes the most sense for your home.
Are cellular shades good for Arizona homes?
Yes. Cellular shades can be an excellent choice for Arizona homes because their honeycomb construction creates insulating air pockets within the shade. This can help reduce the impact of heat and sunlight coming through your windows while improving overall comfort. Cellular shades also offer different levels of light control and privacy, making them versatile for bedrooms, living rooms, and other spaces. During your consultation, we'll help you choose the right fabric and configuration based on your home's windows and sun exposure.
How do I choose the right cellular shade?
Choosing the right cellular shade depends on several factors, including your home's design, sunlight, privacy needs, desired light level, window size, and how you want the shade to operate. We'll help you compare fabrics, colors, opacity levels, pleat sizes, and operating options during your consultation. Because we can look at the actual windows and surroundings in your home, we can help you select cellular shades that complement your space while providing the functionality you're looking for.
