""Shades Under the Sun" simplified our post-renovation blind and shade selection, with Maria providing knowledgeable and enthusiastic guidance through their extensive range. The seamless installation and stunning results, coupled with unparalleled service, make them a top recommendation for quality window treatments."
Loved by Arizona Homeowners
"We are very happy with our blinds. Maria gave us suggestions and are pleased with the choices we made. I would highly recommend looking into these if you are considering window treatments. My only concern are the blinds at the doors with the door handles. Over time that area will wear and soil from the rub of opening and closing the door."
Loved by Arizona Homeowners
"Very helpful, knowledgable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company and would use them again."

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Window Treatments
Need-to-knows
Can you help me choose colors and fabrics?
Absolutely. Choosing the right color, fabric, texture, and finish can feel overwhelming, especially when you're coordinating multiple rooms. During your consultation, we'll bring samples and help you compare options in the actual lighting and surroundings of your home. We'll consider your existing flooring, furniture, wall colors, architectural details, and overall design style to help you create window treatments that complement your space beautifully.
Do you provide professional installation?
Yes. Professional installation is an important part of the custom window treatment process. Once your products are ready, our team carefully installs and checks each treatment to ensure proper fit, operation, and finished appearance. Because every window and installation is different, professional installation helps ensure your custom shades, shutters, blinds, or other window treatments perform as intended and look their best in your home.
Which shades are best for Arizona's sun and heat?
Arizona's intense sunlight and heat make light control, UV protection, and solar heat management important considerations when choosing window treatments. Solar shades, cellular shades, shutters, and certain roller shades can all be excellent options depending on your home's windows and exposure. We'll consider factors such as the direction your windows face, your desired level of privacy, and whether maintaining an outdoor view is important to help you find the right solution.
Do you offer motorized window treatments?
Yes. We offer motorized window treatments that provide convenient control of your shades with the touch of a button and, depending on the system, through compatible smart-home technology. Motorization is especially helpful for large, tall, hard-to-reach, or frequently used windows. We can help you determine which motorized options are appropriate for your home and explain the available operating and control features during your consultation.
Which window treatment is right for my home?
There’s no single window treatment that works best for every home. The right choice depends on your style, privacy needs, amount of sunlight, window size, and how you want the space to function. During your complimentary consultation, we’ll help you compare shades, shutters, blinds, drapery, and motorized options and recommend solutions that fit your home, lifestyle, and design preferences.
